Tottenham 0-0 Man Utd: Rafael sees red but United return to top of the table with unbeaten record

Rafael was sent off with 15 minutes remaining as both Tottenham and Manchester United rued sloppiness in the final third as they played out a 0-0 draw, that saw the away side regain top spot in the Premier League on goal difference.

The story is too old to be commented.

United lucky to get a draw...They defended very well though
Rafael's second shouldn't have been awarded but he should have been sent off in the 1st half!
Well,now #Chelsea are 4th ;)
And a Bonus : Neville might play in the next game.

??? I guess you didnt watch the match? This was not luck at all. A draw was ok, but United ruled 1. half, Spurs had a chance or two, while United played ball!

Watched it from the start to the finish.
1) VdV was shit
2) Crouch is useless
3) Rooney is back
4) Berbatov is a showboat
5) Nani was a flop
6) Vidic was brilliant
7) Bennoit Assou Ekotto and Modrid Were amazing
8) Van Der Sar/Gomes were saviours
AND Tottenham could have won 1-0 if it wasn't for Crouch/Vdv

what exactly should he have been sent off for in first half haha, you guys are funny. Was nothing like gerrards tackle.

First: he got the ball with his first half challenge and moved his other leg out the way, UNLIKE gerrard who went both feet in and didnt touch the ball
Second: the second yellow was laughable and he had every right to tell the ref to fuck off as he was useless.
Third: We are top of the league unbeaten even with 14 vs 10 LOVE IT!

BELIEVE!! :)

Another poor game my Man u and yet they remain unbeaten. Man u played below par and Spurs played very well. Rafeal was very unlucky to be sent off. both yellows were harsh. but he is getting better. Rooney is showing signs of his old self. i can't wait to see man u in top form.

spurs to rob 4th place of chelsea.

Yes, many players are out of shape and has been for a long time now. I was expecting something more of Rooney, but he has not yet managed to get back into the form he had last season. Another bad match yesterday.

Yet United have a great ability to take points even in bad times. 1 point away against Tottenham is a good result.

BUT Soon United have to play better football. How they are playing now and played a long time, will not hold out the season in either league or CL
