Hannover have been one of the surprise packages of the 2010-11 Bundesliga season so far and the Roten currently sit in second position with 34 points from 18 games.
Head coach Mirko Slomka has now made it clear that Hannover are determined to defend their current position in the league table, thus qualifying for next year's Champions League.
