Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has warned his players they must start winning more games at home if they are to avoid the drop this season.
Latics have the fewest number of home victories in the Premier League this campaign, with fans at the DW Stadium watching them take maximum points on just two occasions.
With the exception of Blackpool, Martinez's side have also picked up the fewest number of points on home soil with 12, and other than Birmingham, have scored the fewest goals at home, with 11.
Martinez is aware they are statistics that have to change, starting with Tuesday night's visit of Aston Villa.
"The level of performance at home has been really good. We really enjoy playing in front of our fans and the environment they create," said Martinez.
