Blackpool have been fined £25,000 for fielding a weakened side in their Premier League game against Aston Villa on November 10.
Having drawn 2-2 with Everton in their previous game, Blackpool manager Ian Holloway made ten changes to his side and saw his side lose 3-2 at Villa Park to a last-minute goal.
At least they're consistently unreasonable. How can you be fined for squad rotation? I don't think neither Ian Holloway nor Mick McCarthy did anything wrong. If anything, maybe they made too many at one time, but I'd probably do the same thing if I saw the need. Hope they do the same if/when a big side like Arsenal, Man Utd, etc do the same.
So basically you have a 25 man squad, but you can't use it..
That's just stupid. They can't tell a manager how to run his team, if anyone can, is the owners of the team.
