Manchester City winger Adam Johnson is believed to have sustained an ankle injury during training.
According to The Telegraph, the 23-year-old had to be helped off the pitch by two members of the club's staff after he had sustained the injury.
It has been reported that the player underwent initial tests, but the Eastlands outfit's medics intend to reassess the player's condition before giving their expert opinion to manager Roberto Mancini.
