Liverpool to use Torres cash to sign £14m replacement

Sportingo.com:

Liverpool will use some of the cash from the potential sale of Fernando Torres to finance a move for long-term target Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

The FC Utrecht hitman has been on the radar at Anfield and his 11 goals in the Eredivisie this term outstrip the seven scored by Liverpool's latest recruit Luis Suarez. Selling Torres would be stupid. Now he starts to find the rythm again. Keep until the next transfer, and see if he changes his mind. I guess Dalglish would re-raise Liverpool.

... he's a promising young striker, but really doesn't have any special qualities that REALLY make him stand out, and many of his goals have been from penalties.

Also, I don't think Liverpool should sell Torres, nor do I think they should waste this much money on new strikers. Liverpool needs some improvements to their midfield. They should get a guy like Honda or Theo Janssen or something.

Aissati could be a bargain as well. Great creative attacking midfielder who's seriously underrated here in Holland, due to some bad luck with lousy coaches.

Honda, Hazard, Aguero/Llorente, Turan, and a couple of defenders is what Liverpool needs. Torres can leave if he wants to, but at a good price. If we sell him then we will have enough money to buy out all those players (including the money from selling a lot of current LFC players)
