Amsterdam giants Ajax lost important players such as Urby Emanuelson and Luis Suarez in the winter transfer window, but defender Jan Vertonghen is still confident his side can win the Eredivisie title.
"Obviously, players such as Suarez and Emanuelson were players who were a guarantee for a number of goals and assists. Additionally, they were quite popular within the team. However, with their departure, other players will get the chance to prove their worth," said Vertonghen to De Telegraaf.
