Is this the end for Carlo Ancelotti?

Carlo Ancelotti's long-term future at Chelsea is in doubt, with the Doublewinning manager unlikely to commit to a new contract at Stamford Bridge - and the club's board continuing to make cutbacks.

Ancelotti's friend and trusted adviser, Ray Wilkins, has been sacked as assistant manager on the orders of Chelsea's owner, Roman Abramovich, and is now taking legal advice over his dismissal.

And with the man who has replaced the popular Wilkins, Michael Emenalo, lacking the coaching qualifications for the job and perceived by some players as a favourite of Abramovich, the fault lines in Chelsea's management structure are in danger of resembling the turbulent final year of Jose Mourinho's reign.

Shame really, he is a good manager but knowing chelsea and their ways he will probably get sacked.

I think he will stay.They are up there and fighting for cl place. And a defeat for Liverpool is not that bad:) Liverpool is good and belongs also up there.

I agree one defeat is not bad but looking at the season overall they have dropped from first to fourth and their recent performances are not as good as they can be.
