West Ham have seen off the competition of Tottenham Hotspur to virtually win the battle for ownership of the Olympic Stadium, the BBC reported on Wednesday night.
According to the corporation, the Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) will nominate the Hammers as the preferred bidders and ask that the OPLC board backs the decision, which must be ratified by the London mayor and the government.
