Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will miss the next four weeks of the season after undergoing surgery on his long-term groin injury.Gerrard did not make the trip to Portugal for the Europa League defeat to Braga and will miss more games as manager Kenny Dalglish looks to secure European football next season.
