Rangers march on, Canaries held

QPR's seemingly unstoppable march towards promotion from the Championship continued as they won at Doncaster, while Norwich were held at Hull.

Hogan Ephraim struck the only goal of the match for Rangers in the 47th minute as Neil Warnock's men - shorn of the talents of the influential Adel Taarabt due to illness - extended their advantage at the summit over the chasing back.

Second-placed Norwich slipped nine points behind the leaders as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Hull.

Nick Barmby snatched Hull a point as the Canaries extended their unbeaten run to eight games.

The Canaries took the lead through a Zak Whitbread header in the 27th minute, but Barmby arrived at the near post to level from close range midway through the second half.

Swansea are a point behind Norwich after Fabio Borini bagged a brace on his debut in their 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.
