Former Netherlands national team coach Marco van Basten has been formally announced as Bruno de Carvalho's choice as coach if the latter wins the Sporting CP presidential election on March 26.
De Carvalho is said to be one of the biggest favourites to win the election and has reportedly secured a €50 million transfer fund from a Russian investment firm.
