Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has played down speculation that Jens Lehmann is the answer to his goalkeeping crisis.
Manuel Almunia’s weekend calamity - when he gifted West Bromwich a goal by rushing out of his area - led to suggestions Lehmann could make a sensational return to the Gunners starting line-up for the visit of Blackburn on April 2.
Lehmann must be in at least better shape than Almunia. Even I could have done a better job than what he did during the second WBA goal.
