Tottenham's Tim Sherwood: It Didn't Look Like Real Madrid's C. Ronaldo Had A Hamstring Problem

Tottenham are fully prepared to face Ronaldo as they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League in April, and do not expect the forward to miss out through injury.

The Portugal international suggested he was injured following the 2-1 victory over rivals Atletico Madrid over the weekend, with the club later confirming they expected him to be out for up to three weeks with a hamstring complaint.

The story is too old to be commented.

It wouldn't surprise me if this "injury" is an excuse to rest Ronaldo for the end of the season. He has been playing an incredible amount of games this season and he might need a break to continue performing at the end of the season.

Mind games. Spurs players would have thought they had a better chance to then be told nope, Ronaldo will play. He and Sir Alex use this tactic a lot.
