Germany internationals Mesut Oezil, Sami Khedira and Philipp Lahm have all been excused from the friendly international encounter with Australia in Moenchengladbach on Tuesday.
The DFB (Germany football federation) made the announcement on their official website on Sunday and stated that the trio will not be part of Joachim Loew’s squad for this week’s match. All three started the 4-0 defeat of Kazakhstan in Euro 2012 Group A on Saturday.
