Jack Wilshere has played down fears of him suffering footballing burn-out if plays for England's Under-21s in this summer's European Championships.
Wilshere believes it is vital for his development as an international player to be competing in tournaments at a young age.
You say that now, but come October when you completely run out of gas/ get some stress-related injury that keeps you out for weeks/months like what happened to Walcott, it'll be because of all these games that you played with no substantial break in between.
Young players that try and play too much end up as mediocre players later on. He should try and save his legs, the more he uses them now the more injuries he will have when he is older.
