Champs League boosts Spurs' books

Tottenham's financial results have showed a 49% increase in revenue during the six months that followed their Champions League qualification.

Spurs' interim results from June 30 to December 31, 2010 showed that the club's first ever qualification for the competition in its present guise saw their revenue increase to £79.8million compared to the £53.3million they recorded at the same stage last year.

In total, the club posted a profit of £4.2million compared to the £6.1million loss they made during the same period in 2009.
