I wouldn't really know since I didn't follow Chelsea during Mourinhos years but I think Shevchenko actually scored in his first game (against Liverpool I think).
I think Torres needs some mental help, he just needs to see the ball go in the back of the net at least once to get his confidence back.
I am not a fan of any of these teams, but as a neutral footballfan I think this was deserved result. Chelsea need to do a lot of changes to the return to have any chance. Today, they played not as a team but the players run around one and one with any plans of what they do .
Unfortunately this was not a good match for neutral eyes. But United did what they should.
We can play better but thats just goes to show how strong we are! Rooney looked miles better than either Torres or Drogba. Carrick made Frank look old and Carrick is very under rated. Which is unfair for the lad, he needs to be starting for England.

Did United have Arsenal in round of 16, First time you get a tough opponent and beat them(just a leg) and you act like you are the champions of europe.
Well I'm talking about their Quarter Final opponents, and no disrespect to Arsenal but Barca are miles ahead of them. And i'm not acting like we're the champions of europe, far from it, we still got long to go. I'm just delighted my team got a great result against a tough opposition.
Only you! You always have something bad to say about United. We can do it, even if we are underdogs. I believe United can beat Barca regardless of the doubters.
Well Real and Barca will probably meet in the semis so that's one of them out the competition anyway. As much as it pains me to say it I can't see anyone stopping Barca, if United got them in the final we would have to be at our very best and hope they have an off day.

It's easy for people to excuse their team's performance over one incident. Luiz should've been sent off in the league game, but it's just a convenient excuse to cover the fact that United didn't play well enough in the second half. Same thing here, Chelsea had over an hour to reply to United's opener, and they didn't. Teams shouldn't rely on the ref to get them through a tie.
Well he did get a yellow, a straight red for diving wouldve been way too harsh and honestly with the way he played United should be glad he's gonna start in the next match
I suppose so yeah, but he dived twice, rio ferdinand picked him up first time, second time he was booked. He also raised his hand in rio's face, which again is a yellow. And i think essien and ramires's very late tackles on Rooney that went unpunished
