Gareth Bale a candidate for Player of the Year as PFA announce awards nominations

Gareth Bale leads the nominations for this year’s PFA awards, with the Welshman put forward for both Player and Young Player of the year.

The Spurs winger has been in fine form this season, scoring 7 goals in 24 games for the North London club, and is joined by Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri, who has also been nominated for both awards.

The story is too old to be commented.

Played well in Europe, never to be seen in the Premier League. Strange choice. Rafael bossed him both times we played them.

Ridiculous list. No PL top scorer. Player with most assists isnt there either despite having more goals and played more than Bale.
Either way i think Adam and Hernandez should win the awards

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Bale winning the award, I think Vidic or Nasri.
