Following Arjen Robben's harsh criticism of Bastian Schweinsteiger, the Bayern Munich management has come to the defence of the Germany midfielder.
Club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in particular took offence on the vice-captain's behalf, saying: "That a man with such a sporting CV is now derided as a 'little boss' and discredited in this way is outrageous and an insult."
