The Qatar 2022 World Cup bid team has issued a statement denying any wrongdoing following allegations that Mohamed Bin Hammam bought the rights to host the tournament.
Suspended FIFA vice-president Jack Warner revealed he had received an email from general secretary Jerome Valcke in which he alleged Bin Hammam had bought the 2022 World Cup, while questioning his reasons to run for FIFA president - a race he pulled out of at the weekend.
