Man United Ready to Make Summer Move for £16m Paul Scholes Replacement

Sir Alex Ferguson is readying a bid for Blackpool playmaker Charlie Adam as the Old Trafford boss looks to replace Paul Scholes, who announced his retirement from the game today. btw, for what i've seen I find adam better than diego but still not 16m quality.

12 goals and 9 assists for his first season in the Premier League is impressive, plus the fact he takes free kicks and corners.

Whether he's United quality though is another matter.

Well said, mate. Adam has been a great player this year. If the 16mil is true, I think that's a little much but we desperately need help in the center midfield.

he's a quality player and desrves to be at a top half of the league club.. i'm not sure if he's good enough for united though.. he may prove me wrong and be able to cut it in the champions league
