Manchester United enter Modric bidding war

Manchester United are considering entering a bidding war with Chelsea for the services of Tottenham's Luka Modric, while it is believed that Manchester City are also keen on joining the race.

Modric would be open to a move to Old Trafford, according to his agent, after an initial offer of £22 million from Chelsea was rejected by Spurs

This is only going to increase his already ridiculous transfer fee if clubs are going to enter a bidding war. Spurs must be loving this.

It doesn't look like Modric is going anywhere. Redknapp seems certain that he won't let him go.

Redknapp said: "Tottenham are not selling Modric, end of story. I've spoken at length to the chairman Daniel Levy and he said Luka is not for sale. So that's good enough for me"

Unless Modric hands in a transfer request, Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City are wasting their time.
