Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala was voted Sports Personality of the Year during the Gauteng Sports Awards in Kempton Park on Thursday.
Tshabalala, who scored the opening goal during the 2010 Fifa World Cup, beat other top athletes in the country including AB de Villiers (cricket) and Natalie du Toit (swimming).
