Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti has stated that although he feels Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player, he reckons that the Portugal international is not of the same level as Barcelona's Lionel Messi when it comes to performing when it matters most.
i see this statement all the time but i always remember ronaldo scoring in our biggest games.. quarters and semi's of the champions league and in the final.. didnt he score the winner again barca in the copa del ray aswell.. what do these ppl class as big games ?
he did it for man utd. champs league final vs chelsea, champs league semi vs porto and a bunch of games in the league.
Ronaldo scored in Copa Del final against Barca......messi played in same game and didnt score...., he has scored in major big games in Man U also, what is in the mind of these guys????? Is it plain envy.....or myopia?
both players are class but Messi is more of a team player
