Colombia coach Hernan Gomez felt that his side did not deserve to be knocked out of the Copa America quarter-finals at the hands of Peru.
The sides were locked together at 0-0 before extra time proved decisive in Peru's favour thanks to two goals from Carlos Lobaton and Peru captain Juan Manuel Vargas. Despite the defeat, Gomez thought his side had done well throughout the competition.
