Former Japan international Naoki Matsuda remains in critical condition after collapsing at training

Japan's 2002 World Cup star defender Naoki Matsuda remains in hospital in a critical condition after collapsing a training on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest after finishing a warm-up run with Japan Football League club Matsumoto Yamaga on Tuesday morning at approximately 9:30. (International, Japan, Other Leagues)
