France were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Chile thanks to a combination of questionable officiating and steely resolve from the South American visitors.
Laurent Blanc’s men took a first half lead through Loic Remy but were denied a second after the linesman incorrectly ruled Remy to have interfered with Kevin Gameiro's shot which ended up in the net. Chile then grabbed a late leveller through Nicolas Cordova as both sides served up a great spectacle.
