Sunderland have agreed a fee with QPR for the sale of defender Anton Ferdinand as the R's step up their transfer deadline-day dealings.
The 26-year-old will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with the Premier League newcomers in London on Wednesday afternoon.
Ferdinand, the younger brother of Manchester United and England centre-back Rio, moved to the North-East for a fee of £8million three years ago from West Ham.
