Santos forward Neymar had looked set to join Real Madrid back in June as coach Jose Mourinho sought a 'Galactico' for his second season in charge. Madrid had a bid of €45 million (£39m) accepted, along with five other clubs, and Santos claimed the Copa Libertadores.
