Fernando Torres will soon be back to his best, former Arsenal striker Ian Wright believes
The former Liverpool sensation has yet to hit top gear for the Blues following his £50 million transfer from Anfield, and has been the subject of much criticism after several lacklustre performances.

The Spanish striker did net his second goal in 24 games for Chelsea at Old Trafford last Sunday, but he missed the target on a number of opportunities, with one standing out in particular.

After being released one-on-one, Torres rounded David de Gea with a neat bit of skill and had the chance to stroke into an empty net but fired wide.

Former Arsenal striker Wright has defended the 27-year-old, insisting he will return to form in the very near future.

The story is too old to be commented.

We have been saying this for nearly 3 years now. The guy is sore over something we will never know and it affects his performance. He has the talent just needs to sort his head out.
