Pepe Reina has launched a stinging attack on former Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, accusing them of almost ruining the club and forcing him out.
The American duo’s tenure came to a messy end in October last year with the club in turmoil on the pitch and on the brink of administration off it, with creditors forcing them to sell up to John W. Henry and Fenway Sports Group (FSG) for much less than their desired asking price.
