Anzhi Makhachkala player-coach Roberto Carlos has announced a media boycott after the publication of several interviews in which false quotes were attributed to the Brazilian.
The former Real Madrid defender allegedly expressed his interest in signing players such as Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka and Arsenal's Robin van Persie for Anzhi, but he has insisted that he never discussed any names.
