Vidic suggests he's ready to quit internationals after Serbia fail to qualify for Euro 2012

Nemanja Vidic has indicated he will retire from international football after Serbia's failure to qualify for Euro 2012.
The Manchester United defender missed a second-half penalty as his country chased a win in Slovenia that would have guaranteed a place in the play-offs.

Instead Serbia were defeated 1-0 by Dare Vrsic's first-half goal, which signals the end of Dejan Stankovic's international career and, seemingly, that of Vidic.

'It's time for a change of generations, and for some older players to say goodbye to Serbian kit,' said Vidic, which was widely interpreted in his homeland as a personal farewell to national service.
