Prem giants set for £40m Hazard auction

Chelsea and Inter Milan have entered the race to sign Arsenal target Eden Hazard.

The 20-year-old Lille winger is the hottest prospect in European football, with Manchester City and Liverpool also watching him.

And his French club are trying to start an auction to get £40million for the Belgian playmaker, who has long been admired by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

"Eden is certainly willing to stay at Lille at least until next summer,' said their academy director Jean-Michel Vandamme.

I doubt Chelsea will want him as they have Mata to play on the left wing and Inter Milan are rubbish now which might put him of going to them.

Anyone who is worth over £30m, the papers immediately link them to Chelsea and Man City.

Still can't believe a player like Hazard is worth £40m, how times have changed.

Mata doesn't necessarily play on the wings, he pretty much has license to go anywhere. Also, Malouda is getting older so we could use him.

Saying that, he's probably not going to Chelsea because mentioning them is usually a tactic to raise the player's fee.
