Roberto Mancini believes his Manchester City team can make their first-ever Champions League campaign a potentially triumphant one if they come through whatever awaits them in Napoli's Stadio San Paolo.
City's 3-0 victory against Villarreal means the trip to Naples on 22 November gives them the chance to qualify for the knockout stages with a game to spare. However, Napoli can also re-establish themselves as favourites to qualify, at City's expense, if they can make it an unhappy return to Italy for Mancini.
