11 Current Footballers We Want as Analysts and Pundits

BR - A lot of footballers turn to coaching and management when their playing days are over, some opt for a seat in a TV studio sharing their thoughts and others just disappear never to be heard of again.

Just because you are good at playing a sport doesn't make you a good pundit or analyst, however, there is a case to be made for anyone's name to be thrown into the ring. (Culture)

I think only Champions League finalists should be allowed to be pundits as they are the only ones with experience at the highest level. That includes Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal.

Pundits that I can't stand and have won nothing are
Alan Smith- thinks he can judge people with next to no experience
Andy Townsend- Just talks rubbish!
Jamie Redknapp- the guy thinks he knows what he is talking about.
All have never won a league title.

By that logic, Clarence Seedorf would be a perfect pundit...
... yet he was boring and predictable and didn't add anything.

I just want people with an open and honest opinion, and the ability to express and defend that opinion.

You don't have to have played at the very highest level to recognize tactical stupidity, or technical shortcomings. And yeah, they might know better about the pressure, but in the end, we are all judging the football that's displayed and we can see for ourselfs if it's any good or not.
