David Beckham is in MLS’s All-Star line up

David Beckham was chosen as the Comeback Player of the Year from Major League Soccer [MLS] which announced on Monday.

Beckham who signed the contract with LA Galaxy for five years, has just cured from a serious leg injury. The injury made him only played in 10 competitions with LA Galaxy last year.

Beside of that Beckham has also experienced Achiles muscle injury which wasted his dream to perform at the 2010 World Cup.

But now all the plight of this 36-year-old players has already paid. From the statistical data of his appearance this year, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player has provided 15 assists, played in 26 games and two goals.

This achievement is also surpass his best record in MLS which previously appeared only 25 times and 10 assists.

With the inclusion of Beckham’s name as the Comeback Player of the Year, it means that he also entered into the list of eleven MLS best player this season. In this All Star team, Beckham also joined with four other midfielders.

This award is the result of the election of club representatives, the media and also the players.
