Touré was seen clearly kicking Mata as the Spanish winger lay on the floor during his side's 2-1 defeat of the league leaders in west London before later television pictures showed the former Barcelona player giving Mata a slap.
Indeed, during the half-time analysis Gary Neville, a television pundit with Sky Sports, highlighted how Touré was lucky to remain in the game which, at the time, was poised at 1-1.
It was a tap there was no malice in it. He was basically telling him to get up as he was time wasting as at the time Chelsea were happy with a draw until City went down to 10 men. I know i'm gonna stick up for a City player but really there was nothing in it.
