How can anyone disagree with this? It's 100% fact. Ronaldinho was a lazy bastard. He was a fantastic showman and could do things with the ball that Messi can only dream of but his workrate and dedication to being a model professional are both extremely questionable.

Ronaldhino was better player to me also, not because of his flare but because of what barca had behind him in that team, right know messi wouldn't cut it in any other team in europe, im pretty confident he would fail where ever else he would go!
100% agree. Messi is world class and the best in the world today but he will never match Ronaldinho's skill, touch, vision and creativity...Not to mention the fact that barca wouldn't be anywhere near where they are today without Ronaldinho. He made football into an art form and is by far the most technically gifted player there as ever been even compared to pele and maradona.

Ronaldinho wouldn't suit the new style as well. It's now about playing for the team as well as yourself. That's one of the reasons people prefer Messi to Ronaldo.
Ronaldinho can do absolutely crazy things with the ball at his feet but Messi can also beat 5 players and score - without the need for the tricks.
