Well this team isn't even AVBs team. He came here and hes trying to sort things out. If he manages to keep to the top 4, i think it should be considered somewhat of a successful season. Doesn't matter if they get kicked out from the Champs league. All the other English teams are out so no need to compare him with others.
Next year however, one would expect them to be able to be a bit more competetive in the Premier and champs.
