Good result for City!
Funny how all of a sudden, the City fans love Tevez. The guy was their best player for two seasons, he refused to play one game and every one was all over him. They were trashing and burning his shirts. Coming back to the match, looks like Nasri is City's new creative force, Silva was invisible! The Manchester Derby will definately be the title be the title decider.
Where the hell is the Everton-Arsenal highlights?
Sorry! Seeing now I am only doing it as a hobby I spent half an hour posting news, so what fits in fits in. I used to spend 2 hours sometimes posting in the hope to be rewarded by a prize but they are not being handed out so I stopped and just do it for fun now.
I still question whether the derby will decide the title. This is a great result for City but it was yet another home win. Their home form just isn't in question here- its their away. If they can beat Stoke away comfortably then maybe then yes they can take it to the derby.
Their away games are the crucial ones. Arsenal away for example will be the crunch game before the derby. Stoke away will be no gimme. Norwich away. Newcastle away. None of them easy games.
This was a good result and a stepping stone but Arsenal away has to be the key result considering their away form. City have won only 7 of their 14 away games, drawn 3 and lost 4. Thats 24 points away to United's 36!
Even with their immaculate home record, that sort of hitrate is not enough which is why they are 2nd and a point behind.
We'll see. City can still win the title but it'll have to be done the hard way. If they are only 3 points behind Manchester United by the derby, they can win it. If not then i think it is probably over no matter the derby result.
City deserved the win. Chelsea barely had a shot at goal and their goal was a lucky deflection. I think the title will be decided in a months time when Utd come to the Etihad. The only worry for City up to that will be the away game at Arsenal. Arsenal are in great form at the moment.
Once Chelsea fielded Essien, I knew it was City's to win. What a terrible substitution!
