What a goal from Crouch! You won't find a better goal from Messi, Ronaldo, Van Persie etc. Joe Hart could do nothing about that, Super goal!

Nes_Daze4414d ago (Edited 4414d ago )

Yet Crouch has 8 goals, 2 steps below Hernandez, one above Welbeck (in goals) on your fav team. :(
Rather make twice as much instead of making one very good one.

Messi and CR have 34 each or so, Messi's not a long distance shooter, so that shouldn't even be a comparison. The others you mentioned are. Nothing personal, just saying..lol

buddymagoo4414d ago (Edited 4414d ago )

Touchy, touchy. Surely you have to admit that it was a great goal! That is all that I was saying.

Show me a better goal??? Thought so.

Nes_Daze4414d ago

I did, it was amazing. :) I can surely show you a better goal, obviously there have been, but lets not get ahead of ourselves lol.

Ok I take it back but still a wonderful goal. Title is ours to lose.

Was a fantastic goal. City should be worried now. They were talking after the game like they had rescued a point when in reality they had dropped two. They cannot win the title with this sort of away form IMO.

Whenever they have played away, they look very average and vulnerable. Yesterday was no exception. Stoke were very much a match for them if only in stubborness of defence. Stoke could have easily also had a penalty, and City's goal was fairly fortunate.

At this rate, by the time Manchester United go to the Etihad the title could be virtually over anyway. If they do not beat Arsenal and Norwich away, United could be 5 or 6 points in front rendering even a win in the derby virtually irrelevant.

I think this was a good result for city as stoke is not an easy place to go and i think united drew there early on in the season too.

I am a united fan and i do think this was a very good poi t for city as it keeps them 3 points behind united if united win tomorrow night plus at this moment there goal difference is better than ours.

I do think it is uniteds to lose but i am not getting ahead of my self. On paper city have the harder run but we still have some hard games left and games against teams who are fighting to stay up.

I do think united will win it but not getting ahead of my sef just yet lets see what happens tomorrow night.

On the game what a goal crouch scoured and for me its the epl goal of the season and yet again its against city just like last years was.

I don't disagree Stoke away is no walkover. United did indeed only take a point early on this season. It is a tough place to go win.

But it doesn't really excuse City's performance, their lack of inspiration, their fortune in the game itself and also generally speaking their away form. Their poor away form and performances extends far beyond a draw at Stoke.

But when the pressure is on, you want to be champions, you go up a gear. United have gone up a gear in the league and City have not matched that.

I disagree that it was a good result and it wasn't even a good performance against Stoke.

City are now level and United need to win Monday. If United win by a few goals the GD is virtually eradicated from being something like 15 goals behind. You will also still point to the away games City have yet to play and say United have more points having played a tougher set of games so far.

If City don't turn it up away from home they will be lucky to get 7 or 8 points from their last 4 away games going by their current away ratio. If they win every home game (including the derby) and get 8 points from their away they will set United a target of 91 points to be champs.

Or 21 points needed from a possible 8 games (assumedly losing to City being the 9th so we discount that)

United could lose to City and lose another game and still be champions unless City really wake up.

Two Amazing goals! I think tevez should've been on the pitch earlier, Balotelli was soo off today, kinda felt bad for the dude.

Infernostew4413d ago

Without Shawcross' headed deflection, Toure's shot would've been right at the keeper. A powerful shot from long distances, yes but hardly a nice goal from City.

johnsonbat4414d ago (Edited 4414d ago )

Super goal. How crouch gets all his limbs to work together is a mystery to me.

XboxInnovation4413d ago

Manchester City is a joke. They have a team worth hundreds of millions and can't beat Stoke City, a team that was in the 457th division of English football like 10 years ago.

AcceptedWalnut4413d ago

Guess Utd are a joke too then as they only managed a draw at Stoke. You can also add Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham to that list.

Idiot.
