The Colombian is quite rightly regarded as one of the most lethal finishers in world football but he now seems set to take a step down in level solely for financial gain
Again, he doesn't have much of a say because of 3rd-party ownership. His owners will get the best possible deal for them. It's got nothing to do with football or any player's "career". Chelsea can't sign him (because of the FA's ban on 3rd-party ownership) unless they give Atletico the money to buy out the company that own him and THEN sign him (eg. David Luiz from Benfica), which will never, ever happen. Nobody wants the guy, it's far too complicated and expensive, seriously.
Don't you think if they were allowed to, they would've already bought him? Moving from Atletico to Real is near impossible, unless Madrid are willing to pay obscene amounts of money for him.

Madrid should buy him
