Real Madrid is always linked to some big names, and this summer is no different.

With numerous amounts of money to spend and the allure of being one of the biggest names in the game, it is not hard for Real Madrid to attract talent.

Looking at the squad shows there are very few areas where strengthening is required, but if Real Madrid wants a player, they are certain to get them.

Here are six big names tipped to become Galacticos.

Luka Modric

Let's start with the player who is reportedly on the verge of a deal with Real Madrid. Luka Modric has been linked to Real Madrid throughout the summer, and it looks like, according to the Metro, once Real Madrid and Tottenham agree upon a fee, then things will be complete.

The Croatian playmaker has been wanting a move away from his current club for some time, but Madrid may not be the right move. Modric certainly has skills, but he will have a tough time displacing any of Madrid's current starting five in midfield.

David Silva

According to the Mirror, Manchester City slapped an enormous price tag of £80 million on David Silva amid interest from Real Madrid.

Recent reports that Silva is set to sign a new contract with the club should end such speculation for the two-time European Championship and one-time World Cup winner.

Carlos Tevez

The Daily Mail reported that Real Madrid was interested in another Manchester City star, with Carlos Tevez being the player in question.

Tevez would be a good fit for Real Madrid from a positional and talent standpoint. However, Luka Modric was the club's main target, and if the reports on that slide are true, then it is unlikely they will also make a move for the Argentine forward.

Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez was linked to Real Madrid back in January and had to dismiss any connection between him and the Spanish side back in May.

The Uruguayan attacker would be another great option in attack for Los Blancos, but he would not come cheap. There is still plenty of time for such a deal to occur, and if Suarez finds himself disliking new manager Brendan Rodgers' methods, a move could happen.

Lucas Moura

According to Goal.com, Lucas Moura revealed he was in informal talks with Real Madrid in early June. The site also reported the Spanish side was close to signing the wonderkid.

The Sao Paulo and Brazilian starlet has also been linked to Manchester United. It seems Madrid will face a battle to sign the youngster.

Yaya Toure

Right after Manchester City's Premier League title there was speculation concerning Yaya Toure's future at at Manchester City.

SoccerNews.com reported that Real Madrid was preparing a bid for him, and the Ivorian midfielder wasn't exactly forthcoming about what his future held.

Yaya Toure did mention his desire to return to Barcelona, and that may have an effect on any interest Real Madrid may have.
