Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Joao Moutinho Is Perfect for Red Devils

FC Porto star Joao Moutinho would bring a great amount of talent and experience to the Manchester United midfield, with the club looking to improve its squad to avoid another trophy-less campaign.

Per the Daily Mail:

"The Red Devils are understood to have opened talks with the Portuguese club over a deal for the attacking midfielder, who is rated in the £25million mark."

Moutinho is still a young player at 25 years old, but has a wealth of experience at the club and international levels. He's won the Portuguese league and has the quality to play an important part of United's pursuit of another Premier League crown.

Moutinho was very good for Portugal at Euro 2012 and was a key part in their run to the semifinal, where they lost to eventual champion Spain in a penalty shootout. Moutinho and United winger Nani have a good chemistry from their play together for Portugal and would likely be just as effective together at Old Trafford.

Not only is Moutinho a great player with impressive playmaking skills, he also has plenty of experience playing with top forwards. Transitioning to United and playing alongside quality attacking players like Nani, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck wouldn't be a problem for the Portuguese man.

Moutinho's performances in the Porto midfield have certainly played a part in the successes of the club's top attacking players, such as Brazilian winger Hulk.

Moutinho's combination of fine talent and experience makes him an ideal player for the Red Devils. He's a winner and a player who would certainly upgrade Manchester United's squad.
