Another day calls for another Robin van Persie rumor or news piece. What more did you expect?

According to Sami Mokbel of Mail Online, Arsenal is hoping van Persie makes a "Wayne Rooney U-turn" back to his regular club.

When headman Arsene Wenger talks to van Persie one-on-one, the Holland international would be wise to return to the Emirates.

Here are three reasons why.

New talent

Bringing new, explosive talent is something van Persie wanted to see, right?

Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski will provide Arsenal with the goal scoring and final-third completion that the Gunners lacked last season.

Van Persie scored 30 goals, Theo Walcott was second on the team with eight. Arsenal clearly needed more offensive firepower and they went out and got it this summer.

Giroud and Podolski were brought to the Emirates in hopes of keeping van Persie happy. But they were also signed just in case van Persie did decide to leave.

If they can retain van Persie, Arsenal suddenly has an extremely talented group of potential goal scorers and goal creators.

Chance to win titles

Robin van Persie wants to win titles; Premier League and Champions League. Despite Arsenal being unable to seal the deal in title competitions, the Gunners are still in formidable contention every year.

What more does he want?

Arsenal has a chance to win both titles every year. The Gunners finished third in the EPL this past season despite getting off to a disastrous start.

The chance for them to win titles in the EPL and UEFA Champions League is there for the taking.

Knowledge of system

Arsenal fans love van Persie. They love his coolness in the final third, his on-field leadership and his overall abilities. The Emirates is the perfect place for van Persie to flourish.

He knows the system, understands the history of the club and he understands the passion of the fans.

Arsenal and van Persie go hand in hand; it's the perfect fit.

Just like we saw with Fernando Torres, anything can happen to a star player when he goes to a new club. It doesn't matter about their talent, their overall skill set or their history, there is a chance of failure.

Comfort is what van Persie feels when he's in a Gunners' uniform.

His situation is screaming for him to stay at the Emirates, but I'm not sure he'll make the right decision. We'll find out soon enough.
