Striker happy at City as he feels 'valued' again
Carlos Tevez is confident of enjoying a good season with Manchester City as he feels 'valued' again at the Etihad Stadium.
The Argentine ace warmed up for the new season in style with a stunning goal and performance in last weekend's Community Shield win over Chelsea.
Tevez has helped turn around his City career after it looked like he would be leaving the club last term when he went AWOL in his native Argentina following a bust-up with Roberto Mancini.
The 28-year-old insists he is happy at City and that he is brimming with confidence after feeling wanted again at Eastlands.
"I'm returning feeling renewed," said Tevez. "I'm really up for having a great season. I'm better now and only thinking about playing football.
"I feel useful and valued and that is fundamental for me. It's been a long time since I've scored a goal like that (against Chelsea), like the ones I used to score when I was at Boca, and this speaks of the confidence I have."
