Arsene Wenger is confident Arsenal will soon discover a cutting edge after drawing a blank for the second successive week following a 0-0 stalemate at Stoke City.
Following a frustrating 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland on the opening day of the season, the Gunners were again blunted at the Britannia Stadium.
The departure of Robin van Persie to Manchester United has deprived Arsenal of last season's leading scorer, while new signings Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud are still adjusting to the demands of the Premier League.
Wenger took the positives from a solid defensive display against Stoke and feels it is only a matter of time before Arsenal start scoring.

"Overall, I feel we had a solid performance," Wenger told
Sky Sports. "We were not in trouble defensively and we created some chances that we couldn't take.
"We don't take our chances, but it was a solid game with a dominant spirit and overall I believe there's a lot of positives in there.
"The negative is that we couldn't score for two games now, but I believe that will come. There are many new players and to find each other in the final third may take a little bit more time.
"The organisation and technical level was good, but we missed a bit in the final third. The adjustment of our passing, and the spontaneous way to take our chances, is not completely automatic, so we still have some work but there's a lot of positives."
Vito Mannone started in goal due to an injury to Wojciech Szczesny and Wenger admits his first-choice keeper may not return for next weekend's game against Liverpool.
He added: "It's a muscular problem so it's at least one more week."
