Gunners boss backs himself to land another top flight title

Arsene Wenger is confident he will oversee another Premier League title success and insists his love for Arsenal 'has never faded'. The Gunners were last crowned champions of England in 2003/04, in the era of the Highbury Invincibles. Since then, the north London outfit have been forced to watch on as Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have edged ahead of them in the top flight pecking order. Wenger, though, refuses to accept that the days of challenging for top honours are gone. There may be more money in the bank at Stamford Bridge and the Etihad Stadium, but Arsenal's long-serving boss is adamant that he can guide his Gunners back to the summit. "That is and always will be my goal," said Wenger. "I want to win the title. Can we do it this year? Of course. We can do it again and I don't care how long it takes.

Emotions

"My love for Arsenal has never faded. It will never fade. I will never give up. "There is no timescale. Football is about emotions, about people loving the game. I am always on the training ground, loving players." Wenger, who was once untouchable but has faced criticism from some quarters in recent years, added: "There are still miles in my legs and love in my heart for this club. "I don't know when the time will come when I will wake up and say, like England cricket captain Andrew Strauss, that it is time to go. "I sleep well. I want to work at Arsenal. There's still fantastic quality here. "Yes, it is tough watching old players at other clubs. I watched Barcelona and Cesc Fabregas played. I remember that he was once our player. "But the thought of exciting football ahead drives me on."
